Military Combat Boots
The military standard issued equipment does not encompass one set
of clothing or gear. Every unit has its own specialty. The prime
abjective is to protect from head to toe in the most comfortable manner
possible, which allows soldiers to have ease of movement whether
training in the field or during combat. Gear most be durable and
withstand the harsh conditions of ever-changing terrians and
unpredictable weather.
Infantrymen are soldiers who are trained to fight specifically on
land. Proper footwear is a very important part of a uniform. Combat
boots are designed to handle the daily punishment that a soldier must
endure. They lace through metal eyelets and have breathable GORE-TEX
liners. At 8" in height, the boots lace quickly for a secure fit.
Jump boots are used by paratroopers and have different features from
other military footwear. They lace from the instep to the top of the
boot for reinforced ankle protection and also have side zippers for
quick pull-on and removal. Spit-shine leather creates a high-shine that
mets military standards. Field boots are used for field exercises when
training for combat. Reducing stress injuries is vital for completing
training and keeping units intact. Field boots are made from desert tan
rough out leather and "Spit Shineable" leather. Both have speed lace
systems and internal ankle supports. The boots are water-resistant and
have Polyurethane midsoles. Field boots are constructed using the
Goodyear Patented Flex-Welt method, which is known for being very
durable. Military boots have a wide range of use, from simple rough out
leather for the battlefield to hightech cold weather boots for extreme
snow conditions.
